Hello Family!

As the leaves start to turn color (still holding out for that cold front!), we’re excited to share the latest updates from the past month, where we continue our mission to bring hope, healing, and transformation to the incarcerated and their families.

Expanding Our Reach

On September 9th, Pastor Charles, and Rick & Sharon Browatzke had the privilege of presenting Epiphany Life Change’s transformative programming to the Chaplains of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. This was a powerful opportunity to showcase our work, including the TUMI Capstone classes, which equip individuals with theological education and leadership skills. We’re thrilled to report that we’re actively following up with several chaplains to bring these classes to new units across Texas, expanding our impact and offering more incarcerated individuals a chance to grow spiritually and personally.

Strengthening Bonds Through Marriage

At the end of September, we hosted a heartfelt Marriage Retreat for couples navigating the unique challenges of incarceration. This special event provided a safe space for couples to share their stories, connect deeply, and learn practical tools for maintaining strong, resilient marriages despite physical separation. The retreat was a beautiful reminder of the power of love and commitment, and we’re grateful for the moments of hope and healing shared by all!

Looking Ahead

We’re filled with gratitude for your continued support! Your prayers, donations, and encouragement make it possible for us to bring light to those in the darkest of places. Stay tuned for updates on our expansion efforts and upcoming events, including volunteer opportunities to get involved. Giving Tuesday is just around the corner on December 2nd, so mark your calendars!

Did You Know?

85% of incarcerated individuals who complete faith-based programs like ours show reduced recidivism rates, according to studies by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Explore the data here.
