We have an exciting event on the inside coming up!

ELC is hosting a marriage retreat on May 24^th for incarcerated individuals and their spouses. Pastor Paul Boggs and his wife recently celebrated 30 years of marriage and will be leading. They look forward to sitting down with the 15 couples attending the retreat, offering support for navigating the challenges of marriage, and pouring Christ’s love into these couples.

It is not surprising that incarceration is brutal on marriages and families. According to one study, every year of a prison term makes a couple 32% more likely to divorce. This is a concerning statistic that has a profound ripple effect for the married couple and their families and communities.

ELC is committed to supporting not only the incarcerated but also their families, and this is one way we can help. The retreat will be a workshop format where we focus on sharing stories, talking through challenges, and connecting with each couple for ministry.

Please join us in praying for a time of transformation, hope, and breakthrough for the couples attending. We will give you an update on the event next month!
