Happy Advent Season to you!

As 2024 winds down, we take a moment to reflect on some of the milestones we celebrated here at ELC:

• Early in the year, several brothers from the inside sent us their testimonies, which we shared in several monthly newsletters. It is humbling to see how God is working through ELC.
• We built a worship center at one of the prison units from your generous donations and started holding weekly services there! It is in an air-conditioned space. This is a draw for many; as they come to be physically refreshed by the cool air, their spirits are refreshed as well.
• We launched a TUMI alumni video series that featured some of the program’s graduates and their current activities. In case you missed them, visit our YouTube channel and click on the TUMI playlist here.
• This fall, we celebrated two graduating TUMI classes at the Terrell and Huntsville units. Well done, graduates!
• In September, we hosted our first-ever annual fundraiser. The “Already in White” event had been years in the making, and we were blessed and encouraged by the support we received.
• We hosted several Encounter Retreats, the most recent at the Stringfellow Unity this fall. Lives were changed, and God’s presence was felt by many! Follow us on social media to enjoy some video and audio from the event!

There were many breakthrough moments this year; the above list is just the highlights. None of it would have been possible without your faithful support. Thank you, family.

We give all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the work accomplished in 2024.

As we move into this season of celebrating Christ’s birth, we pray this verse over you, our incarcerated brothers and sisters, and ourselves:

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
